The unit is extremely lightweight and simple to use. It will shut off automatically after 17 minutes, and there is no preparation or aftercare needed.
Although there are many LED therapy products on the market, the DPL™ Therapy System creates the light that the body needs most: red and infrared photons. Unlike damaging higher-frequency ultraviolet rays found at the opposite end of the light spectrum, these low frequency
lights deeply—and safely—penetrate human skin and muscle tissue.
More than forty years of independent research suggests that LED red and infrared light deliver powerful therapeutic benefits to living tissue. Laboratory studies have shown that some skin cells may grow 150-200 percent faster when exposed to the LED wavelengths generated by the DPL™ Therapy System.

The DPL™ Therapy System for Pain Relief |
A drug-free alternative to pain management. The DPL™ Therapy System is engineered to treat pain and sore muscles and accelerate
tissue healing in order to reduce or eliminate the need for potentially harmful drugs and expensive and invasive surgery. The deep, penetrating light activates the production of endorphins and blocks pain-transmitting chemicals.
Near-infrared spectrum light provides temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis, and muscle spasms; relieves stiffness; promotes relaxation of muscle tissue; and temporarily increases local blood circulation where applied. A 2006 study in the journal Pain Research &
Management concluded that infrared heat treatments reduced chronic back pain by 50% over the course of just six weeks.
